A Thoughtful Process
Creating a family legacy film is a careful and considered process. We take the time to understand your family, the stories that matter most, and the people you want included, then shape those memories into something honest, personal and lasting. From the first conversation through to the final edit, everything is handled with care so the finished film feels worthy of being passed down.

Getting to Know Your Family
Every family story starts with understanding the people at its centre. In a relaxed pre-interview, we explore the memories, values and traditions that matter most, from defining moments and personal triumphs to the small rituals that have shaped family life over time. Together, we identify the themes that make your story unique and begin shaping the narrative that will guide the film. Once that foundation is clear, we schedule the studio day.

The Filming Day
On the day of filming, any family members who wish to be included join us for a series of thoughtful interviews, along with candid b-roll captured together. These moments help bring warmth, personality and connection to the finished film. If there are family photographs, heirlooms or meaningful keepsakes you’d like featured, we can incorporate those too, they often add an extra layer of depth and personal history.

Bringing it all together
Once filming is complete, we bring everything together in post-production. Interviews, b-roll, photographs, music and graphics are carefully edited into a 45-minute documentary that feels personal, cohesive and worthy of being passed down through generations. Throughout the process, we work closely with you to ensure the finished film reflects your family with warmth, honesty and care.
