Film, TV & Music Video Production
Built for the screen.
Film, television and music video work demands a strong visual point of view at every stage. From cinematography on set through to editing and colour grading in post, each part of the process plays a defining role in shaping the tone and visual identity of the final piece.
The work
Different formats, different demands
No two projects ask for the same visual approach. Film, television and music videos each come with their own creative, technical and editorial demands, and the work has to respond accordingly.
Cinematography, editing and colour grading all need to work in step with the format to create a final piece that feels coherent, intentional and effective.

HOW WE WORK
Working within the wider production
These projects are often built in collaboration with directors, producers and crews, with KINGPIX engaged in a specific creative or post-production role. The emphasis is on bringing a high level of skill, professionalism and visual impact to the part of the process we’re responsible for, while supporting the broader vision of the production.

01
Discovery & Brief
Every project starts with understanding the brief, the format and the role we’re being brought in to play. That might mean early creative conversations with a director or producer, a discussion around visual references and tone, or a clear breakdown of what’s required across production or post. From there, we define the scope of our involvement and the approach needed to support the work properly.

02
Pre-production & Planning
Once the brief is clear, we move into planning. Depending on the project, that can include look development, shot planning, technical prep, workflow decisions and coordination with the wider production team. Strong preparation helps ensure the creative intent is translated clearly into the work, while keeping production efficient and aligned once filming begins.

03
Production & Delivery
With the groundwork in place, the work moves into production and post-production. That may involve cinematography on set, editing, colour grading, or a combination of roles depending on the needs of the project. Whatever the involvement, the focus is on contributing work that feels considered, technically strong and integrated.
Selected work
some of what we've made.
A selection of screen productions from the KingPix portfolio. Directors, artists, and broadcasters we've worked with across Australia and internationally.

Quoted to role and scope
No two productions are the same. The scope of involvement can vary from cinematography on set through to editing, colour grading or a broader post-production role, depending on the needs of the project.
That’s why this work is quoted according to role and scope. We begin with the brief, discuss where we fit within the production, and provide a tailored estimate based on the requirements of the job.
