Australians for Affordable Energy — Short Form Energy Explainers

Australians for Affordable Energy needed a series of short, informative and comedic videos to help explain different parts of Australia's energy conversation. The project centred around three key topics — sun and wind, coal and gas, and nuclear — turning complex policy and infrastructure issues into accessible content designed for a broad audience. KINGPIX was engaged for full production, taking supplied scripts and bringing them to life across a 24-video campaign delivered for multiple platforms.

Role

Full production

Deliverables

24 short-form videos across multiple platforms

The Brief

The brief was to create a large volume of content that could communicate energy information without feeling dry, heavy or overly technical. Each video needed to be clear enough for everyday viewers to understand, while using humour and performance to keep the content engaging across different platforms and formats.

The Work

KINGPIX handled full production from script to screen, bringing together the creative and technical elements. Across 24 deliverables, the production needed to remain efficient and consistent while still giving each piece enough energy and personality to stand on its own. The challenge was to make the subject matter approachable without losing the message.

The Outcome

The result was a 24-video content campaign designed to help Australians for Affordable Energy communicate complex energy topics in a more accessible way. By combining clear messaging with a comedic short-form style, the project turned policy-heavy subject matter into content that was easier to understand, humourous, and suited to online audiences across multiple platforms.
